What is the schedule of the Costa Adeje International school?
From 9:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m. until 2nd ESO and from 8:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. from 3rd ESO to 2nd Baccalaureate.
How many students are there in each class?
At our International School, the average student ratio is 22 per classroom. At the preschool level, each classroom has 2 teachers, which establishes a ratio of 12 students for each teacher.
What educational stages does our International school cover?
From the first cycle of Infant to the second cycle of Baccalaureate, covering all educational stages from 4 months to 18 years.
What is the percentage of international students?
The Costa Adeje International School has a significant percentage of foreign students. 50% are Spanish and the other 50% are foreigners.
What educational system does the school follow?
At the Costa Adeje International School, we follow the Spanish educational system under the supervision of the Department of Education of the Government of the Canary Islands.
What is the origin of the teachers?
Spanish except for the language teachers who are mostly native speakers.
Will my child learn Spanish at school?
Yes, Spanish is taught at school as a vehicular language, so your child will have the opportunity to acquire competence in this language.
What other languages do they teach at school?
At Colegio Internacional Costa Adeje, we offer a multilingual education and teach English and German. We believe that it is important for our students to have extensive knowledge of languages to be able to communicate and interact with people from different backgrounds and cultures in the future.

How do new international students adapt to school?
New international students adapt to the school through our own Spanish teaching program for foreign students, known as the "ELE Program". This program is designed to facilitate the linguistic and cultural integration of students who do not have Spanish as their native language.
When does the registration period open?
The registration period for the Costa Adeje International School opens on Winners will be announced in March. What is the admission policy and what are the requirements to enter the school?
From the age of 3, the student must pass an interview with the school psychologist, present the latest grades from the previous center, provide the requested documentation and pay a registration fee.
How is access to the university organized if I study at the Costa Adeje International School?
In the 2nd year of Baccalaureate, the EBAU exam is prepared, which gives access to Spanish universities. Through the guidance department, the procedures for access to foreign universities are facilitated.
What facilities and resources does the school offer for the comprehensive development of students?
The Costa Adeje International School offers a comprehensive service since it covers all stages from the 1st cycle of Infant to Baccalaureate and offers all the necessary services parallel to education: dining room, transportation, uniform store, extracurricular activities, English academy, etc.

We have a dining room with its own kitchen, menus controlled by nutritionists, menus adapted to allergies, supervision by the center's teaching staff.
In relation to the school transport service, at our International School in Tenerife we offer school transport service with two routes to Los Gigantes and to El Médano.
What is the school's policy regarding technology and the use of electronic devices in the classroom?
We have the project “Google for Education“: we work with Chromebook “one to one” from 5th grade of primary school to 2nd grade of high school. In these courses traditional teaching alternates with the use of new technologies.
