Objectives

The second cycle of Early Childhood Education will contribute to developing in children the capacities that allow them to:

  • Know your own body and that of others, your possibilities of action and learn to respect differences.
  • Observe and explore their family, natural and social environment. Know and appreciate some of its characteristics and customs and actively participate, gradually, in social and cultural activities in the environment.
  • Acquire autonomy in your usual activities.
  • Develop your emotional capacities.
  • Relate to others and acquire basic guidelines for coexistence and social relationships, as well as practice peaceful conflict resolution.
  • Develop communication skills in different languages ​​and forms of expression.
  • Get started in logical-mathematical skills, reading-writing and movement, gesture and rhythm.

Methodology

The methodology we use is active and participatory, where the student is the protagonist of their own learning. Trying to innovate by using the new methodologies established in the LOMCE, such as ICT, cooperative learning and project work for certain actions during the course (Easter, the garden, the classroom library, Laterne, corners of the patio and classroom pet). The projects developed during the course are prepared by the Kindergarten teachers themselves.
