Whistleblower channel

COMPLAINTS CHANNEL

As established by Law 2/2023, of February 20, regulating the protection of people who report regulatory infractions and the fight against corruption, our entity has implemented an internal information system or complaints channel.

This system allows natural persons to report any of the actions or omissions referred to in Article 2, mainly infringements of EU law and serious or very serious criminal or administrative offences.

For the presentation of this information, the System has an internal channel that allows written communication through two channels:

  1. In written form: A computer application that meets the criteria of confidentiality of information and data protection that can be accessed through this link.
  2. Verbally: requesting a face-to-face meeting through the application indicated in the previous point. You must indicate the request for a meeting in the place authorized to present the facts and must provide a means of contact.

We must emphasize that this is not the appropriate channel for issues related to complaints about the services provided, in which case we ask that it be articulated through ordinary communication channels. Likewise, it is warned that “communicating or publicly revealing information knowing that it is false” is considered a very serious infraction and that the Law provides for a fine from €30.001 to €300.000 for natural persons who commit it (arts. 63.1.f) and 65.1 .a) Law 2/2023).

The Law also establishes the creation of an external information channel and the appointment of an Independent Whistleblower Protection Authority.

Any natural person may report to said Authority, or to the corresponding authorities or autonomous bodies, the commission of any actions or omissions included in the scope of application of this law, either directly or after communication through the corresponding internal channel.
